Troubleshooting

Work through these checks in order and keep the eSIM installed while support investigates.

First: do not delete the eSIM

A QR code may allow only one installation. Deleting the profile can make recovery harder and does not usually fix coverage or APN problems.

1. Confirm the plan and location

  • Check that the order is delivered and the eSIM appears in My eSIMs.
  • Confirm that your current country is included in the plan.
  • Check the plan validity and activation policy. Some plans start only after the first supported network connection.
  • Make sure the data allowance has not expired or been fully used. Daily plans reset their allowance each day; FUP plans may continue at a reduced speed after the high-speed allowance.

2. Check the phone's data settings

  1. Turn on the travel eSIM line.
  2. Select the travel eSIM for Mobile Data or Cellular Data.
  3. Enable Data Roaming on the travel eSIM.
  4. Turn off cellular-data switching if it moves data back to your home SIM.
  5. Toggle airplane mode for 30 seconds, then restart the phone once.

3. Fix No Service or Searching

Leave network selection on Automatic for several minutes. If it still fails, open the plan page and note the supported operators. Turn off Automatic selection, try a listed operator, wait up to two minutes, and then try the next listed operator. Return to Automatic after testing.

4. Fix signal but no internet

Check the APN shown in your eSIM instructions. If an APN is supplied, enter it exactly under the travel eSIM's Mobile Network settings. Leave username, password, authentication type, proxy, and port empty unless your instructions explicitly provide them. Save the APN and select it.

5. Installation or QR-code errors

  • Code already used: check the SIM list; the profile may already be installed under a generic carrier name.
  • Cannot add cellular plan: confirm Wi-Fi, eSIM compatibility, free eSIM storage, carrier unlock, and correct date and time.
  • Invalid activation code: use manual installation details from your private account and copy them without extra spaces.

6. Slow data or hotspot problems

Network speed depends on signal, congestion, supported device bands, operator coverage, and the plan policy. A badge such as FUP - Continues at 1 Mbps means the full-speed daily allowance has been used and service continues at the displayed reduced speed until reset. For hotspot issues, confirm that the plan is marked Hotspot and that tethering is enabled on the travel eSIM.

7. Protect your home SIM from roaming

Verify that data roaming is off for the home SIM. Disable cellular-data switching and check which line the status bar shows for mobile data. Your home carrier may separately charge for calls, voicemail, and SMS.

What to send support

Open a private ticket and include the order number, destination, device manufacturer and exact model, the time the issue began, screenshots of the travel-line, mobile-data, roaming, network-selection and APN screens, plus the troubleshooting steps already tried. Never post the full QR code, activation code, EID, or IMEI publicly.
